SAH: You grew up in France — how did you end up in New York?
DD: When I was 19 years old, my brother lived in New York and for Christmas my parents offered me a flight ticket from Nice, France to spend 10 days with him. It was love at first sight. I walked through the streets of NYC during its coldest days and I could not believe how magical it was.

Presented by NEO Art & Culture Lab x VogelARTIn April 2025, French-American abstract artist Diane Detalle participated in the exhibition “Art to the Rhythm of the Waves” at NEO in Nice, France. The event showcased Diane’s latest abstract paintings, celebrated for their bold 90-degree angles and layered compositions, alongside Kenza’s custom jewelry pieces inspired by Diane’s artistic method. This cross-disciplinary collaboration brought together collectors, press, and art enthusiasts, highlighting the shared themes of empowerment, individuality, and modern elegance.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat celebrated this year's 120th anniversary. On this occasion, the month of May is dedicated to art and will receive many artists. While the Espace Namouna hosts the exhibition “La Beauté à nos pieds” by François Chapelain-Midy until May 26, the Neptune Hall will serve as a showcase until May 19 at “Odyssée”, an exceptional exhibition showcasing in light the voice of two contemporary artists: Diane Detalle and Billy Zane.
